Churo Identity, Branding 2025 Stacks of iron pipes, welding sparks, and steel curves—surprisingly, all resembled churros. From this discovery, our team created Churo, a churros shop inspired by the spirit of a steel mill. The project was part of Triangle Studio’s “Woke Up as a Boss!” project, and our ideas emerged directly from wandering around Mullae-dong in Seoul—an area renowned for its steel workshops. Designed in collaboration with Hyunji Kim and Hyunjin Kim, the project transformed sparks into sweets.
Part Two: Display and Presentation Display, Communication 2025 For the 2025 Design Camp, we created a display that transformed the atmosphere of a steel mill into a churros shop, complete with branding, guideline and applications. We presented the project not only to fellow designers but also to professional design studios, making the experience feel closer to running a real brand.
The entire project was completed in just three nights and four days: one day for ideation, one day for logo and guidelines, one day for applications, and the final day for exhibition. Working under this extreme time constraint pushed me to grow as a thinker, designer, and collaborator.
